چکیده
Coastal zones are among the most variable environments. As such, they require adaptive water management to ensure balance of economic and social interests with environmental concerns. High quality marine data hydrographic conditions e.g., sea level, temperature, salinity, currents needed provide a sound foundation for decision making process. Operational models sufficiently high forecasting resolution can be used further extension service toward coastal-estuary areas. The Limfjord is large shallow body in Northern Jutland, connecting North Sea West Kattegat East. It currently not covered by CMEMS service, despite its importance shipping, aquaculture mussel fisheries. In this study, we use operational HIROMB-BOOS Model (HBM) resolve full Baltic-Limfjord-North system horizontal 185.2 m Limfjord. study shows several factors that essential successfully modeling system: (a) computational efficiency flexible grids allow fjord, (b) an improved short wave radiation scheme model thermodynamics diurnal variability temperature very waters, (c) atmospheric forcing, (d) adequate river (e) accurate bathymetry narrow straits. With properly resolving these issues, able level forecast storm surge warning hydrography forecasts: salinity good ecosystem-based management. simulate complex spatial temporal pattern reproduce their diurnal, seasonal interannual stratification rather well. Its makes it possible transition from basin-scales coastal- estuary-scales seamlessly. total, HBM has been extended, include estuary Limfjord, performance regards predictions, suitable applications coastal applications.

A Mathematical Model for Indian Ocean Circulation in Spherical Coordinate
In recent years, the Indian Ocean (IO) has been discovered to have a much larger impact on climate variability than previously thought. This paper reviews processes in which the IO is, or appears to be, actively involved. We begin the mathematical model with a pattern for summer monsoon winds. Three dimensional temperature and velocity fields are calculated analytically for the ocean forced by ...

متن کاملCoastal ocean wind fields gauged against the performance of an ocean circulation model
[1] Atmosphere model-derived flux fields are used to force coastal ocean models. Coarse resolution and incomplete boundary layer dynamics limit the accuracy of these forcing fields and hence the performance of the ocean models. We address this limitation for the west Florida shelf using optimal interpolation to blend winds measured in situ with winds produced by model analyses. By improving the...

This study investigated the impact of atmospheric metal deposition on natural phytoplankton communities at open-ocean and coastal sites in the Sargasso Sea during the spring bloom. Locally collected aerosols with different metal contents were added to natural phytoplankton assemblages from each site, and changes in nitrate, dissolved metal concentration, and phytoplankton abundance and carbon c...
